Sales Support Officer (Export Markets)

Headit is looking for a motivated, positive, and team oriented Sales Support Officer (Export markets) with excellent knowledge of English and French for international markets.

About the Company

An international player with Belgian origine, active in the petrochemical sector, with its headquarters located in the Antwerp region.

Responsibilities as a Sales Support Officer (Export markets):

  • Coordination of the entire Order-to-Cash process;
  • Act as the primary contact for customers in your region;
  • Organise transportation: book and coordinate shipments, prepare necessary transport documents, handle associated invoicing, and monitor deliveries;
  • Build a strong relationship with your customer base, in collaboration with external sales;
  • Set up and onboard new customers, considering their specific requirements;
  • Stock management: focus on order parameters, product ordering and availability checks to ensure that sufficient stock is available to meet customer needs;
  • Active support & advise of customers on import regulations, shipping terms, transport modes, alternative payments, custom docs (together with trade compliance);
  • Participate in customer forecast and monitor received orders vs forecast.

What we expect from the Sales Support Officer (Export markets):

  • Higher education and/or initial relevant experience in a similar customer and sales support role;
  • Good communication skills to build strong, positive relationships with your network of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Strong administration skills with a good knowledge of MS Office;
  • A positive, motivated, and service-oriented attitude;
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, hands-on approach with a focus on priorities;
  • Independent and solution-oriented;
  • Very strong knowledge of French and English, ideally with knowledge of Dutch. Any other European language is a significant plus.
