{"id":2385,"date":"2026-06-04T14:03:06","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T12:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/headit.be\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=2385"},"modified":"2026-06-04T14:03:07","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T12:03:07","slug":"technical-customer-support-officer","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/headit.be\/fr\/vacature\/technical-customer-support-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical Support Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Headit is looking for a Technical Support officer for the German and Dutch speaking markets.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Where will you work?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The EMEA HQ of this leading, innovative Medical Devices company is located in Zaventem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are your responsibilities as a Technical Support officer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Technical Support Specialist, you are the trusted partner for the German speaking market, and will act as back up for the Dutch speaking market.<\/p>\n<p>Your key responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Acting as the first point of contact for customers &#8211; users of medical and laboratory equipment such as hospitals and labs.<\/li>\n<li>Providing professional, empathetic support when helping to resolve technical issues, guaranteeing a strong customer experience over the phone and email.<\/li>\n<li>Discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions and gathering all information required to do so.<\/li>\n<li>Taking part in improvement initiatives to optimize processes and service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Performing troubleshooting, analysis of problems and timely proposition of solutions as well as next actions to be taken, while remaining compliant.<\/li>\n<li>Investing in clear, timely and constructive customer contact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do we expect from you as a Technical Support Officer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Knowledge:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A higher degree is necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Very fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, with a good, professional level of Dutch.<\/li>\n<li>Basic user level technical understanding (of medical and laboratory equipment), including common issues and troubleshooting steps<\/li>\n<li>Ability and motivation to acquire new product knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with troubleshooting tools, revision monitoring, Customer Technical Bulletins (CTBs).<\/li>\n<li>Experience with customer support tools (e.g., Salesforce, ticketing systems, phone platforms).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Communication:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, both verbally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate active listening, empathy and patience in all interactions.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail to accurately record information and document cases.<\/li>\n<li>Apply logical, step-by-step approaches to resolve technical problems, escalating as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritise and manage multiple cases effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively as part of a diverse cross functional team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Attitude:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, ownership of customer issues, following through to resolution.<\/li>\n<li>Take accountability for your work, demonstrating reliability, professionalism and ethical conduct.<\/li>\n<li>Uphold confidentiality and adhere to company values and compliance standards.<\/li>\n<li>Embrace feedback and strive for continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What do we offer you as Technical Customer Support officer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You play a pivotal role in ensuring an optimal customer experience.<\/li>\n<li>Become part of a great team with a warm and open culture.
